The <span class="caps">DNS</span> is updating as I write, but we&#8217;re proxying any requests from the old server through to the new one, so you should all be looking at the new server now.</p> <p>There was only a few minutes of downtime whilst we copied the database across, so hopefully you weren&#8217;t affected.</p> <p>The new server is significantly faster than the old one, and has its hardware managed for us so we don&#8217;t need to take a trip to the rack if something breaks. Best of all, it&#8217;s mirrored on another server, so that if the whole server decides to check out we&#8217;ll be up and running again in a few minutes on a different server.
